I guess...I haven't heard the term, but if you mean large, armed humanoid machines, then yeah!

I-it's not something I started doing because I like fighting, but I couldn't really turn it down in the circumstances...

Yeah, that's basically what I mean. And here I was beginning to think that my world was the only one with those. At least things won't be too foreign to me if I ever travel to your world.

Better to be a pilot and prefer not to fight than to be a pilot who loves to fight. I'm not entirely convinced the latter should be allowed access to weapons.

And then there's the guys who are in it for the robots...

Yeah. I'm still relatively new to it -- only been doing it for less than a year.

I honestly haven't been doing it much longer. There's just been a lot of trouble in my world for that time period.

What made you decide to become an Agent here?

Aside from getting tricked into it, it's actually a lot like my job with the Earth Federation Army. "Save the world/universe from extradimensional annihilation", o-or something.

Sounds kind of like me. Only I volunteered.

Well, it's not like they had to trick me. Protecting people is really important, and I certainly wouldn't pass up a chance to do so.

Although...given a choice, I'd have probably just told the EFA about the problem and just kept working there.

See, now that is a luxury I didn't have. After I stumbled into this place, my superior wanted a regular contact. So it was either I became an Agent or someone else would.
