[Ed picked up the book (Fingerprinting? What's that?) and started flipping through it, but didn't have time to read it, obviously. Eventually he put it down again and used a very subtle form of alchemy, feeling in his mind what the chemical composition of the ashes was. Anything other than paper in there?]

[Ivan has just stepped into the scene, continuing from the other thread, and he hears what Ed has to say.]

. . . The Councilor who vanished . . . Evangeline. She was a vampire. . . . Councilor Edgeworth wasn't hurt at all, so it's probably . . . um. This is probably residue from a different fight . . .

[Fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh. Ivan activates his Psynergy and anybody with the magic power to notice will realize that a large section of the room has gone monochrome.]

[Alchemy isn't technically supposed to be magic, but it's close enough that Ed probably sort of detect it.]

There's...something weird weird about the color over there.

*gestures at the monochrome part of the room.*

[The Reveal actually flickers away for a good twenty seconds or so. Ivan still looks like he's using Psynergy, though? It flickers back soon enough, though, although Ivan looks a bit pained.]
