Non-dynamic entry!

Hellow, this is the new Agent. My name is Rin Tohsaka, from world Earth-FSN. Magus. I don't have anything better to do these days, so I'm helping out here.

I'm not going to give any more details until I have a better feel for the situation, so if there isn't something immediate and pressing I should be doing, I'm going to move in and start familiarizing myself with the grounds.

"Oh no! It's just that it's... not a word that's used that often, in my world. So you use magic, I guess... Any particular kind?"

She's trying to affect small talk, but her real curiosities are poking through pretty sharply.

"Really?! Electromagnetic, kinetic, chemical or entropic? Or is it a resonance-field manipulation with mana sources and conduits? Something tells me it doesn't adhere to the four-energy model you see in a lot of worlds... fire-water-air, stuff like that? I... heh, sorry, this is sort of a field of study of mine..."

She rubs the back of her helmet.

"You got me figured! I work with fire. There's four elements to my world too; Fire, water, lightning, and shadow. You can learn to manipulate more than one of the first three, but any combination automatically turns into shadow energy, and if you use that too long it, uh... tends to change you, you know what I mean? That's probably totally different in your world, though."

"Neither had I, until I saw it for myself." She shrugs. "I guess 'Shadow' was just the most accurate word for a property that really doesn't have a word at all. See, it's more that the frequencies cancel specifically in the focus planes at a theoretical right rotational angle to the... uh... y-you know how you shine light through different colored lenses, and all together they produce white again? I believe it's something like that. Only it's not white. It's dark." She tries to simplify.

"We could spend a lifetime just researching how magic works in our own world. There's no telling how many different ways its laws can work!" She says, grinning. "But I hope to make a sizable dent. It's been nice talking to you, Rin, but I'm going to let you get things settled and get back to what I was doing too."
