This is an odd image: Kyon is in the gym, punching a punching bag. He's got no form, but he's going at it as best he can.
["Haruhi's gone... I wish I could say that this was a bad thing, but after what happened, I think I'd rather she stay off the front lines -- and where she can handle her own threats even if she doesn't realize it.
Which leaves me, of course. But I can't leave. Not at this point. I may be useless..."] *punch* ["and weak..."] *punch* ["and NORMAL..."] *double punch* ["...but I can't leave. Someone needs to know what's going on. Someone needs to keep an eye on things, make sure if anything happens, I can be there to do what I can."]
He punches the bag in frustration, then pulls his fist away, shaking it in pain.
["But why does it have to be me... instead of someone who can actually DO things? Grr..."]
