Well, now that THAT mess is all over, I think it's time for a hard earned break. To that end, I have a very important job that I need some agents to do.

Specifically, I need a crack team of agents to help me remove the fish from a lake near my estates in the countryside. This is vitally important to the future safety of the universe. After careful consideration, I think my team shall consist of whoever the hell feels like they could enjoy a few days of fly fishing.

[Roxas could be depressed (and in fact has been), but right now he's surrounded by cats. Cats that are trying to climb his coat like a ladder in order to get to the tuna in his pocket.

Roxas has never been treated like this before, but is somehow too stunned to really do anything. These are innocent cats, after all, not Heartless or Nobodies, so hitting them is not really an option.

...Meanwhile, Takoluca has taken up a defensive stance and is whacking the cats sharply with her long, pink tentacles. After all, it's her tuna.

[Roxas was missing? Apparently he was. Not for very long, however; he doesn't look very different from before, except his hair is ruffled, he looks exhausted, the pocket of hsi coat seems as if it's been rifled too far too much for the last few minutes or so, and there is something very odd in his hand.

...Or, should we say, hands.

In his hands are Keyblades. A pair of duplicate Keyblades, actually - two shining gold-and-silver Kingdom Keys. From the two gleaming Hidden Mickey chains, neither is a fake.

However he got them is certainly an interesting question.]

He ended up taking a very roundabout route to get there, but Duo has made it back to CO. He's currently sitting in a bed in the infirmary, arguing with a doctor. His right arm is almost completely covered in bandages and held in a sling, but what you can see of it has got all kinds of black lines on it, like something is growing right under the skin. Duo himself looks oddly healthy, though. Eventually, he very reluctantly agrees with the doctor and sits back in his bed and looking impatient.

All available Agents!

If we're going to prevent another full-scale disaster, we need to tact action, and we need to do it fast. First thing we need: List of all known crossover points between Aethr and CO, and their proximities on the Aethr side to the compromised mana wells. This will probably become tactically important portals soon, if we can't close them.

Next is all places where Aethr's mana is used in CO that might be affected by the tainted mana supplies. These need to be kept under strict surveilance until this is all over, as whatever they're doing, it's probably going to end badly for us, and we need to be ready.

Next: Identifying the people behind this. Kashihara is involved, so this is already at least somewhat an inside job. We need to figure out if anyone else is involved. Councilors, High Councilors and even Senior Councilors are suspect, especially anybody known to have close contact with Kashihara.

With any luck, we can stop this one before it starts.

I know about how birthdays mean cake and presents and things like that, but... why, exactly? What is it that relates a birthday to a cake?

I'm asking you because my second birthday is in less than a week, and while I'm aware that's a milestone I don't really understand how people celebrate it.

Where's Sonic? He hasn't been in the simulation chambers. He's not in his dorm. He's not going on his usual high-speed runs on the grounds. He's not even in the cafeteria, consuming mass quantities of processed food like he does.

So where IS he?

You see that tiny blue dot on the roof? That's where he's been. All day. Since his final conversation with Sally was totally unfiltered, it's pretty easy to figure why he's up there. Some of you may have difficulty actually getting up there to talk to him, but he's got his PDA on and active.

Because an injured heart abandons logic first: You never know. She may just change her mind and call back! It's possible... Maybe...

[You'll find everybody's favourite childlike sixteen-year-old (or adolescent-like nearly-two-year-old) standing outside Naminé's room with a blank expression on his face and his head bowed. He seems a little more dressed-up than usual - he's definitely sent his clothes in to be washed after the event, and he's taken a bath. Though he smells too nice for a bath; that might be because he stole somebody's good soap without realising that just because it was left on the side doesn't make it free to use.

Additionally he's had a haircut for the first time in a while, so his trademark 'do might seem a little short, as opposed to the flaxen mass it's actually been for a long time now. A strange experience in Roxas' eyes, since he's never arranged his own haircut before.

He's got a large bag of collected plat in his pocket. God knows where he might've found most of that - Roxas' job-taking is few and far between, so he shouldn't have access to that much cash unless somebody's been feeding him some kind of secret allowance. Or secret disability allowance, but Roxas isn't really that disabled considering his real age.

There's also something like a ticket in his hand, which he's gripping a little hard. It's crumpled slightly in his grip.

He seems to be thinking about something. Mutters under the breath do indicate that sometimes.]

[...It's not Roxas appearing in this post today. Instead, it's an octopus.

An adventurous octopus!

You see, Roxas is kinda busy eating through that ice cream crate, and looking up things on holidays so that he doesn't get blindsided a third time, and reading up on other worlds... And in all this, he's kinda neglected to feed Takoluka by accident.

But Takoluka isn't one to yell at her owner for this kind of transgression - not when she's perfectly capable of finding the tuna herself!

[This little Nobody has been pretty busy. It is her first real Christmas, after all, and although she's not quite sure how it all works, she's doing her best to participate. If you've spoken to her more than once, you're likely to get a gift. If she knows where you live, you'll find her knocking at your door, or if she doesn't happen to know your whereabouts, expect a message on your communicator. She's trying (maybe a bit too hard) to keep her best smile on as she makes her rounds, and is costumed for the occasion in a red dress with white fur lining and has a sprig of fake holly in her hair. ~~She's been watching Christmas specials, okay. It's difficult for someone without a heart to 'get into the spirit of the season', but darn it, she's making an effort.~~]

[And suddenly, Roxas finds himself in the sim room. Why? Well, apparently, he and L have arranged some kind of battle practice, with Roxas taking a partial instructor's role.

But he's... not very good at teaching. The last time he tried to teach somebody, that was with Naminé and... she ended up teaching him in the process. Maybe it was just a fluke (maybe because Naminé is a good deal more mature than he is, in his mind), but as far as he's aware, he's a lot better at being taught... and even then, he could be a whole lot faster.

So he's obviously a little nervous about the whole thing.]

[After working in the Library, Marona inevitably came across the graphic novel section, which... well, let's just say the result is, she's got a neat little stack of Kingdom Hearts manga next to her as she sits in one of the lounges.]

Is this what Sora went through in his world? Losing both of your friends like that... That's so sad.

[Eventually, it occurs to her to move her reading to her room. While she likes to talk with the various members of C.O., she also wants to finish all of the books before she has to return them, and there's quite a few already. So, with that in mind, she settled into bed and continued her reading, occasionally pausing out of sympathy for her old friend.]
