[Note: This post is mostly relevant for the people who are a part of the Shadow-Self plot, but that doesn't mean that others can't post. It's just that this particular post will kind of be the first plotpoint for those that are a part of it.]

And so, we are entering the month of December... And a little beyond that, the end of the year. How quickly time flies... I'm sure that everybody has their own share of stories to tell about their year.

I encourage everybody to celebrate, but all the while, reflect on everything that has happened over this bit of time. How far have you come in your lives? That's what everybody should try asking themselves...

Hm... I apologize. This is something I like telling my students this time of the year. Forgive this old man and his habits.

I can't help but feel this way at the end of the year... It comes with being a teacher, I suppose.

Well, I've had a few tight squeezes in court over the past year, but I've usually done pretty well. So I can't say I'm having problems.

You must be an excellent orator along with being a superb lawyer. Isn't that what the courtroom is all about? Evidence aside, it's the way you present them that matters.

Uh, well I wouldn't be so sure on the "orator" party, but I like to think I'm pretty good at picking away at the contradictions.

It's certainly a useful trait in the courtroom or wherever, really. Critical thinkers and analysts are always welcomed in whatever profession.

Perhaps the same can be said of our compound... I'm sure you've been holding up well here.
