Nightmare # Many
Ever since the temporal anomalies, Deimonea's been nowhere to be seen. At least in the waking. She's been prowling the dreams of C.O., seeking to make heads or tails out of it all. She's learned something very, very important. There is no Dream Queen here.
The very night this discovery is made, there is a sudden plague of nightmares. Many of them drawn from your fears, but others're just strange. Experimental pieces designed to see what kind of reactions and mental states they might cause.
((OOC: Might want to check Deimonea's permissions post. If you don't want a custom-engineered nightmare, you can just get a really random and bizarre experimental one that might not even be that scary, even if it kinda hurts the brain.))

... What do YOU fear?

From the whirlwind, a black creature now stands. It has multiple eyes on its body, jaws on its head and arms, three legs, and tentacles squirming around its hands. It had human-like characteristics, but it was clearly anything but human.
Nyarlathotep has appeared in his "Moon Howler" form.]
To not fear means that you're contradicting your own existence. You know that as much as I do.

What Deimonea feels is a sense of intense caution and wariness like she has never felt before. Close to fear, but not dread.
...You're interesting, but I'm not sure you're interesting enough to risk staying.

... Huhu... Speaking of, I think I answered my own question... I know exactly what you fear.

The beast in front of Deimonea stood in front of her without saying anything. Rather, it merely waited for her response.]

Cute.

You're going to be a part of MY experiment. You'll find that we're the only people in this little world that I created. If I left, you'd be here all alone. Do you understand what that means for you?

Deimonea searches the emptiness with all her earned, won, and stolen knowledge of dreams. Searching for an exit.

When this is over, you will most certainly be able to answer whether a nightmare such as yourself has anything to fear. I wish you the best of luck... as you face the trial of the Crawling Chaos!
[The black creature's three jaws opened up, releasing unearthly noises that resemble something close to laughter. Nyarlathotep's tentacles squirmed and moved around faster and excitably. Nightmares are Deimonea's specialty, but Nyarlathotep was a different type of sadist who worked to remove all notions of hope from people.]

An illusionary miasma surrounds Deimonea, roiling with the angry colors of her anger. And... a touch of anxiety.

Come, writhe, squirm, and struggle all you want and show me what makes you tick! Huwahahahahah!
[A whirlwind of purple light blew around the black monstrosity and, in the same instance, it vanished, leaving Deimonea alone in this white box. As Nyarlathotep fled, the room started shrinking to the point where there was no room for other people to stand. The room worked to emphasize the fact that Deimonea was all alone and, until this hell was over, she would be still be alone.]

This isn't going to be easy.
