[ As soon as Katina got Lucca and Ed to safety, her first instinct was to turn right back around and head through the gate.

That didn't last very long though - her armor was designed to deactivate itself when damaged and in a properly safe location. Not her favorite feature, but it gave her enough time to realize that she needed to take care of her own wounds. Dying isn't all that useful.

That's how she found herself laid up in the medical wing, being taken care of for strained ligaments, a dislocated shoulder, and a few cracked ribs. Nothing serious, but enough to leave her out of the fight if she took much more of a hit.

No amount of common sense made her happy about it, though, and it shows in her fairly dour expression. ]

Looks like you guys are gonna have to get by without me for a few days. Hopefully I don't miss anything important, but I'll be back in action as soon as everything's holdin' together properly.

The only thing actually broken are a few ribs.

Anyways, went with Ed and Lucca while they got another tainted mana sample. Got slammed into a few walls, but I had my armor so it wasn't that bad.
