[In the library, Atsuro can be found animatedly switching between a mound of thick tomes, his laptop computer, and his COMP. What is he searching for? Obviously some sort of new programming language C++++ went obsolete here like 200 years ago never mind C++ they're on like F++ now. . . . Or . . . hold on. Maybe not. Could it be that he has interests outside of being a geek after all? The textbook he's reading is open to a page full of illustrations similar to this, and his laptop is open to a corresponding Wikipedia article. In Japanese, of course.
There is a demon familiar beside him at all times. They seem to rapidly switch back and forth -- Kabuso is out the longest.]
Kawauso's the name you had first. Look here. Sekien Toriyama described your race back in like the the 1700s. It's like a dead match.
What, you blind? Geez, which one of us posed for that loser? This is whatcha get for associating with mortals -- a crappy-ass picture in the Who's Who and barely a half paragraph; I see Okami got like five pages. As usual. You humans and your wolf fixations what's wrong with otters, huh?
. . . W-Wow. I didn't know it meant that much to you. You wanna tell me your life story, then?
Like a snot-nosed brat like you'd appreciate it.
You know, you guys are pretty cool when you aren't trying to kill me. I can see why the old-timers liked this sort of stuff.
[Pop by to say hi? Be awed by Atsuro's demons and/or angels? Chime in with your knowledge about youkai? All of the above? Go ahead!]

Ah, you have one of those demon summoning devices too, huh?
no subject
It's the summoning program inside it, actually, but yeah. You know someone else who uses something like it?
no subject
Another boy who wears headphones had a similar device.

[He pulls up a seat, pushing his cape back, revealing summoning tubes]
looks like some sort of encyclopedia.

Oh! Wikipedia. It's more or less the best website coded in the last five years or so. It's got information on everything.

Wha--? Chingling, come back!
[And Omi's chasing his delinquent pokemon... who has hopped up onto the table next to Atsuro. Omi sighed at it. He nods to Atsuro's demon, then sits across the table from him.]
Hey, Atsuro-kun. Whatcha reading?
no subject
[The boy takes a break from his reading to glance up at his visitor, reaching out place a hand on Chingling.]
De Coelesti Hierarchia, I guess. Something to do with Christian angel hierarchies.
no subject
Huh. Anything interesting?

We'll probably run into the rest later . . .

Heeeeey, it's you! Lookin' good, toots.
[Atsuro physically squashes Kabuso under a book as he swivels.]
Sheesh, don't go sneaking up on me like that. What if I thought you were a demon and punched you in the face?
no subject
[she takes a seat in the chair on the other side of Atsuro, away from Kabuso.]
...That doesn't happen though, right? Demons showing up here too? [now you have her worried.]
