[In the library, Atsuro can be found animatedly switching between a mound of thick tomes, his laptop computer, and his COMP.  What is he searching for?  Obviously some sort of new programming language C++++ went obsolete here like 200 years ago never mind C++ they're on like F++ now.  . . . Or . . . hold on.  Maybe not.  Could it be that he has interests outside of being a geek after all?  The textbook he's reading is open to a page full of illustrations similar to this, and his laptop is open to a corresponding Wikipedia article.  In Japanese, of course.

There is a demon familiar beside him at all times.  They seem to rapidly switch back and forth -- Kabuso is out the longest.]

Oh! Wikipedia. It's more or less the best website coded in the last five years or so. It's got information on everything.

[And Omi's chasing his delinquent pokemon... who has hopped up onto the table next to Atsuro. Omi sighed at it. He nods to Atsuro's demon, then sits across the table from him.]

It's pretty dense. All I've really gotten out of it so far are the nine separate orders -- Angel's at bottom, Power's somewhere in the middle.

Yeah, it comes outta thin air, usually. These myths were supposed to be explanations for phenomena humans couldn't explain. I think my question is more of the chicken and the egg. Did people describe these things the way they saw them, or did the demons just take on these shapes because we were familiar with them?

[Why is she in the library? She doesn't even know. But after finding the place by accident it seems like someplace Atsuro would hang out in so she decides to check it out. After spotting him and the demon which she pointedly ignores she creeps up from behind and sticks her head over his shoulder.]
