[If you're wandering around at night for whatever reason, you might feel a chill run down your spine as everything suddenly feels darker than usual around you.

Down the corridor in the distance is a strange... Shadow. No other word can really describe it. Is this just some sort of Halloween prank? Or is it something more sinister?]

((OOC: A few people have already plotted ahead how this will go, but feel free to have any of your wayward characters spot this thing. But keep in mind, directly confronting it will go very badly at this stage. Flight is recommended.))

[Ness's heart starts pounding against his chest. He inwardly curses the fact that he left his baseball bat back at his dorm room, but remembers that he has PSI abilities, duh.

And then he remembers that they're not exactly at their full potential yet, so if he charges in to fight this...thing, he's completely and totally screwed.

So he backs away, slowly. His heart is hammering ever faster, and his mind is screaming "RUN AWAY RUN AWAY" at him.]
