[Action]

[If you're wandering around at night for whatever reason, you might feel a chill run down your spine as everything suddenly feels darker than usual around you.

Down the corridor in the distance is a strange... Shadow. No other word can really describe it. Is this just some sort of Halloween prank? Or is it something more sinister?]

((OOC: A few people have already plotted ahead how this will go, but feel free to have any of your wayward characters spot this thing. But keep in mind, directly confronting it will go very badly at this stage. Flight is recommended.))

"Whatever you are, it's clear you're only going to hurt people... As a knight, I'm not going to let that happen!"

[She charged straight at the creature ignoring all her fears and reasons... And was prepared to make a broad slash with all that was left of her courage.]

[To dodge, Cecile attempted leaping nto the air, but... It wasn't enough. How could she deal with so many of these things all at once? To pit such a little girl against such a monstrosity...

... As the strikes made contact, Cecile's wooden sword flew high into the air, landing a fair distance away from the massacre.]
