[This is certainly an unusual sight. Miles Edgeworth is in the Agent Dorms. Specifically, he's standing in front of room 805. He raises his fist and knocks on the door sharply.]

Wright, if you're in there, open up. It's time we ended this farce.

Phoenix is napping when Edgeworth comes a calling; he blinks a bit blearily as this sinks in.

He gets up and opens the door, but find it's not so easy to actually look the guy in the face. He's still not sure exactly what his clone did, but he can't somehow stop feeling guilt for it.

...Edgeworth.

Wright, it's time we stopped avoiding each other over an incident that wasn't even your fault.

He blinks.

So you're not...

He looks away a bit again.

I found out, you know. About all the things my clone did. All the people he hurt, the little acts of betrayal. That people might think I'm anything like that... that's what I was afraid of most.

He tightens his fists.

But the idea that he may have damaged our friendship like that... That's what hurt more than anything else. I'm still not sure of the specifics. I don't want to know the specifics.

And here, he looks at him.

But if that's the sort of thing we're up against, then you're right, Edgeworth. There's no way I can back down at this point. I'm going to do everything I can for this place to stop those people. What they're doing is unforgivable. I may not be as strong or as smart as some people here, but I'm still going to give it all I've got. You can count on that, Edgeworth.

[Edgeworth remains silent during Phoenix's speech and briefly after, taking it all in.]

I expect nothing less from you, Wright. After all of the cases I've seen you take back home...I know you can -- and will -- live up to your words.

Edgeworth...

Hey, Edgeworth... since we're on speaking terms again, there's something I've got to tell you.

What is it?

...Watch out for Councilor Kashihara. There's something wrong with that guy, even though I can't really put it into words.

If you're worried I'm spreading rumors for no good reason, talk to Councilor chaos. He can fill you in better.

...I know you better than to think you're merely spreading rumors. I'll make sure to talk to Councilor chaos -- maybe I'll take him up on that lunch offer.
