Phoenix has been rather quiet since he woke up in the medical wing. He wants to think everything that happened was just some horrible nightmare, but as he overhears more and more conversations, it quickly dawns on him that it is impossible to say this is the case.

A week... If I'm right, I've been gone a whole week. Trapped in that thing...

Is it true? Was there some sort of false me running around? Is that why I see so many people looking at me with contempt when they pass? What exactly did my imposter do? And... why would they pick me, of all people? I'm new. I'm nobody. It doesn't make any sense.

I told Edgeworth I'd do everything I can to help... but in the end, I just helped create more hassle. Am I really supposed to be here?

He clutches the magatama in his hand as if all sense of his reality depends on his holding it.

[Vivio heads into the medical wing, frowning. Everything after the last couple of weeks had really gotten to her, and despite that bean that Gohan had given her healing her from that rather large electric shock, she was still tired.

But before she could rest there was at least someone she needed to see.]

Hi Phoenix, how are you?

[Edgeworth walks into the room...but every time he tries to meet Phoenix's gaze, he looks away.]

[Virgil just strolls into the room, and sits on the edge of Phoenix's bed]

Howdy, heard that you were awake.

[Hazama enters the medical wing, glancing around a few times before noticing Phoenix. Is that a faint smile on his face?]

How are you feeling today, Mr. Wright?

[At some point after her big post-battle nap, Meiling wanders in on her rounds of checking up on people.]

"Hey big guy."

There's a blue Hedgehog leaning against the partition, smirking at him.
