Summer Greetings Everyone! I am the newest Agent here, Asagi, and It's great to be the new Main Character of this place. I promise I will be the best main character, and will make sure all my side kicks get time in the cut scenes! I know how it is to be a struggling character.

I am looking forward to working with all of you. Oh, and don't be upset if you wanted to be the main character. There are always spin offs!

[If you run into either Lyle or Ky today, you might notice that they have dark gray crosses marked on their foreheads. Also Jr., you may or may not have noticed, depending on what time you woke up, that Lyle had left the room early this morning.]

The story is that they both decided to go to Ash Wednesday Mass in their respective worlds, hence the crosses of ash on their foreheads. They'll also refrain from eating meat all day today, and will be eating only two meals with no snacks in between.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly disappointed that Miss Asahina didn't give me anything for Valentine's Day. But to be fair, it's not like she's obligated or anything, and as much as I fantasize and yearn otherwise, she's made it fairly clear she's not into the whole relationship thing. Which is Haruhi's fault, of course. Still, the idea of savoring her homemade chocolates -- or even ones bought from the store by her dainty hands -- was such a wonderful thing to wish for. So it goes.

They want us to do more patrols. How the heck am I supposed to patrol anything? I mean, okay, I've been taking some of those fighting lessons from Enforcer Vimes, but I hardly think a foot stomp and a jab in the eyes would do against the sort of things I'm sure are just lurking around every corner in half these worlds. Maybe I can get away with sticking to the really easy ones. You know, the ones close to what our world WOULD be like if it weren't for a certain she-devil. I bet I could handle Konata's world assuming they don't make me co-host again. (I never thought I'd say this, but that woman makes HARUHI look saintly.)

Also, I really hope Miss Asahina gets a new roommate. That kid is a brat.

PUBLIC, AT THE GATES

...Well, they say to patrol, but how the hell am I supposed to decide which gate needs patrolling? Man, I would've preferred some guidance on this one.

[There's no specific reason for it - maybe it's his homicidal roommate, maybe he just likes blocking people's way, or maybe he just really likes sitting on stairs. Either way, Adachi is currently sitting on the bottom step of the Agent Dorms, a cloth on his lap and pieces of what looks like a gun spread around him (a .44 Magnum, in fact). It seems like he's cleaning the cylinder, so at the very least, it's unloaded (but that may be the only consolation to the otherwise unsettling fact that he even has a gun of such high caliber).]

Whew, these babies are pretty high maintenance!
