[Minato finds himself studying in the library. Now that he's in another school, he's been having to balance his duties as a student and as an agent. He's been helping out with the paperwork, but ignoring his other obligation would certainly end badly for him, especially when you consider that the administrators of his new high school can actually interact with CO.]

[...Never mind the fact that it's summer. Simply keeping up with the new kinds of lessons is taking from his free time.]

I'll be returning to my world soon. I have some unfinished business there that I need to get back to work on finishing.

I won't be heading back until about two weeks later, though. The task I've left behind is going to be our most difficult yet. But if we can pull it off, my client will be able to accomplish one of her goals.

So I plan to spend most of that time doing some training, but I'd prefer to train against other people. If anyone wants to spar with me, just let me know and I'll arrange a block of time in the sim chamber. For those who don't know me, I'm a swordsman. I've got no super strength or speed, or any other special powers -- I just know how to use a broadsword.

[Anyone passing through the Gate Complex during the morning, may find a very weary Minato struggling to stay up. It's unknown for how long he arranged to stay in his world before coming back, but it certainly doesn't look like it was a short break. He's finally back, though. Not wounded, but very, very unaccustomed to moving around.]

[Since his fight with Nyarlathotep, Minato has been thinking about the duty he owes to his world. Specifically, he's been reflecting over the fact that it's slowly starting to look less like an obligation, and more like something he actually wants to accomplish. This could have something to do with his personality now being attuned to Messiah, the embodiment of such feelings. Of course, the Post-Death license he's been granted by CO doesn't hurt.]

[He turns on the video feed.]

I've been holding this off for a while, but I wanted to talk to you guys.

[He holds up the permit.]

I think I can go back to my world now. It will change things... but they don't have to stay the way they did last time.

[The amount of paperwork required for Souji's "reward" for his services in the Aethr incident was rather impressive. Requisitioning mind-control or illusionary hats? Piece of cake. Even just the requisition for this voucher wasn't too bad, but actually applying it to his previous...loan took moving papers through three different departments and an outside corporation in at least four directions, and he thinks there may have been a stable time loop involved somewhere.]

[That said, once he explained to the Carnage Corps that he would be staying on as a soldier and simply converting his paycheck straight to platinum, everything cleared up rather miraculously. Corporatism.]

[And thus, Souji looks down at the final statement for his Resurrection Service, initials next to the PAID IN FULL notice, checks the Confuto Ordinatio Voucher box one more time, signs it three times, scans it, and files it. And with that, he's a free man, at least until he gets killed again.]

[For the last week or so, Sophie has been making herself scarce. In reality, she's been hard at work. She took a certain something that a certain silver-haired Persona user said to heart, and after requesting a more permanent position and getting a new room assignment, she's back.

The screen flickers on. She looks a little tired, and avoids making eye contact with the camera for long periods of time.]

So, uh. For anybody that saw that little outburst last week. Yeah. Sorry about that. And to anybody I exploded at, um. Well, I'm sure you know I didn't mean it. Doesn't make any of it right, but...

I hope you guys can look past that. Kind of acted on impulse, and it was out of line. I want to make it better. Guess that's it.

[She clears her throat awkwardly.]

Good evening, Agents, Enforcers, and fellow Councilors of Confuto Ordinato. My name is Dr. Norrington, a new member of the council. I assume that some of you have met my assistant, Papierwaite. I would like to congratulate everyone for their hard efforts back in Aethr.

I was in Aethr and I saw how valiantly everybody was fighting. My assistant, Papierwaite, brought to my attention that one of the enemies in Aethr is a rogue councilor by the name of Akinari Kashihara, or rather, the Crawling Chaos, Nyarlathotep.

This is a request from me to those who have made direct contact with his true form: come to Councilor housing room 104 at once. Nyarlathotep is the weakest of the Outer Gods, but regardless, his powers are more than a match against any human psyche. I need to make sure the damages, if any, he made won't resurface... They tend to.

[OOC: I'd like to have Norrington set up a counseling session with the people who were a part of the fight with Nyarly. Being hit by all the despairs of humanity probably left a mark, which is what he's worried about. It's totally optional, of course, but I figure now would be a good time as any to have some IC shenanigans. We've all been so srs for a while, after all.]

[Unlike Carter, Minato didn't even wait until he reached a room. He's currently in the cafeteria, completely healed, thanks to Salvation, but so asleep that you can practically hear the sheep. You'd think he'd be in a coma after everything that happened, but he'll probably be done within the next hour or so. There's still people who need help in Aethr, after all.]

[OUTSIDE, Alice is going about business as normal, but occasionally stalking Minato at length - tough for Minato to catch, but easy for anyone else, since she's focused on her target like a laser with blinders on. When she isn't stalking Minato, she's spending a lot of time looking out windows and sighing dramatically.
INSIDE, Alice is making Minato dolls. Dozens of them. Minato everywhere. There also may be a Yukari in there, nailed to the wall in the corner. If you are Ranma, this behavior is creepy as fuck. If you are anyone else, well, maybe she left the door open by mistake. She'll be closing and locking it after 2 or 3 of those incidents, though.]
