At present, she's wearing civilian clothes -- a black sweater, black denim pants, a purple ribbon tying her long hair at knee-level, and glasses. From the bag she is removing book after book. Some belong to her, others belong to her Master and her Master's boyfriend, and still others were checked out from a library. The last thing she takes out is a picture frame containing a photo of herself, two other young women, and a young man, surrounded by cherry trees in full bloom.]

Ran can be found in the library today; there are a number of programming manuals around her today, and she is reading them all at a speed that could almost be considered ludicrous. Occasionally, she jots down notes, nodding as she does.
