 [Over a week ago, Katina brought up the idea of KAMEN RIDER GESPENST, because Hero Senki gave her a crazy idea.

It's had time to stew, and she still hasn't gotten bored with the idea - in fact, she's done some research on the Kamen Rider world they have, as well as on general robotics.]

Alright! Not too long ago I brought up the idea of miniaturizing my Gespenst so I can use it in more places. I found a world we have access to that we can look at for the transformation tech, and I think we can get a lot of the mechanical stuff from the Ferinus Aer gear. I mean hell, it's sports equipment that puts a lot of world's military gear to shame, who knows what we could do with it on a real weapon.

If anyone's interested in the technical stuff, I'll send you what I've got so far. Everyone else can toss in their input though!

Aftermath of the exercise marathon, the day after

[Immediately after his class today, Ky returned to his apartment and took a nap, showered, and prepared dinner. He hasn't been seen around at all since last night.]

I have good news. Effective today at 3:00 P.M. local time, I have been promoted to the Special Task Unit. I won't require a change in lodging, but I do technically have higher authority than the standard Enforcer.

I'd also like to apologize for not being around much over the past three days. As part of the procedure for promotion, I was required to sit through three eight-hour classes on how to use the memory erasure device issued to all Special Task Unit members.

To celebrate, I made myself some bouillabaisse, but it seems I've made too much. Anyone who would like to join me for a bowl and a glass of champagne would be more than welcome to come to my apartment.

Knowledge, as they say, is power. It is also the key to making sure you don't go to jobs where demons with a taste for human flesh is a regular feature, and thus it is that Phoenix is currently reading over the various details on various worlds, trying to get an idea. Though these warnings are written really tongue in cheek... hey, wait a second.

Easily excitable lawyers?! What the hell kind of a warning is that? And underage female assistants? Does that happen more than I realize? ...I can get the warning about the Oldbag, though...

He's reading these in the cafeteria on his PDA, with a cup of coffee close at hand. You know what that means: open game for random conversation.
