[Of all the days of the year, this is the one Jin hates the most.]

[Not because of Valentine's, as one could assume. Jin doesn't really care what people do with their romantic lives. No, today happens to be his birthday as well, and the last thing he needs is a plethora of people approaching him to congratulate him. He had enough of that in the NOL. You would think years of brushing them off would make them learn something, but it seems like that's expecting too much of people.]

[Luckily, this isn't the NOL, and he reasons that it's unlikely anyone will know today is his birthday.]

[Right now, he's returning from another mission, getting ready to return to his room. He would much rather be doing paperwork all day than walk around seeing everyone making nice to each other.]
