Chapter One: Ionae doesn't want to make new friends

[The video flickers on to show a young woman who is talking to someone off screen. The person she is talking to can be heard, but too indistinctly to be understood.]

-button, then what happens?

Why would I want to do that?

Introduce myself? To them? Why bother?

[Suddenly it clicks that she's being recorded and she turns her attention to the screen.]

OH- um, this is awkward. Apparently I am socially obligated to introduce myself to you. Hello, my name is Ionae. I am now an agent for Confuto Ordinatio, with all the privileges and responsibilities that grants me.

Glad that's over with. [The video shuts off, though it's still in respond mode, or whatever it is, so you can talk to her.]
