[For the first time in a while, Mao is actually using the simulation chamber for practice. She's kept her skills as a spy at top notch, but hasn't been focusing on her piloting skills, and so she's making up for lost time with tactical simulations. In each simulation, Mao leads a small team of mecha chosen at random from CO's database against a similarly composed enemy force of varying numbers in varying terrains and situations. She's pretty good, but she has her limits, and sometimes her force just gets overwhelmed and destroyed.

Step in for an ally? An enemy? Change the simulation? Make smartass commentary from the observation deck? Talk to her when she's finally done and heading for the locker room with a towel?]

[Action - Mecha Hangar]

[You know that empty spot that's been in the hangar for the past month? It's not empty any more. Gundam Zabanya's back, but there's something a little different about it -- namely, the four GN Holster Bits that are attached to its shoulders. Lockon is standing in front of an open cockpit.]

Well, boys? What's the verdict?

[Action - Gate Complex]

[Lockon has just emerged from a gate with some equipment that he's rarely seen with. He's wearing a dull green cloak and carrying a bow. Those who pay attention to such details will notice that the gate he came out of is one of the two gates leading to Jugdral -- Silesia, specifically. What's that about?]

[A rather familiar-looking sixty-year old man walks through the gates, exhaling a wisp of smoke as he examined the halls to try to judge how much time has passed. He stops at the grounds, seeing strewn pieces of herbal head-dresses, and a whole bunch of viscera.]

[The video plays, showing off the huge mess, then it narrows on Snake's face - he looks at least a decade older, and his hair now mostly gray with splashes of brown]

[Action]

[Lockon walks out of one of the gates to Earth-G00, wearing his flight suit. He looks tired, but satisfied. His two Haros bounce along the ground behind him.

But wait a second. Didn't Lockon take Gundam Zabanya along with him last time? Where is it?]

I didn't mention it to anyone, but I went home for a while. I wanted to go and finish the fight.

And we did. The battle's over, and the Earth in my world is safe once again. And as you all can see, I'm still ticking.

Can't say a whole lot for Zabanya, though. It got trashed pretty badly during the final battle, so it's staying behind until repairs are done on it. I've got an estimate of three weeks on it. So for now, looks like I'll need a mass-produced mobile suit until it's fixed.

...And one more thing. To those of you who know what's gone on with my personal life lately: I'll be okay. I can keep going. You have my word on that.

[Action]

Duo finally returns to the hangar with a black and white mobile suit that he most certainly did not have when he left. He gets out and starts climbing down from the cockpit, but when he's about to the waist, he stops, looks around, then punches the gundam's fist, as if giving it a fistbump.

So, uh, that kind of got way out of hand. Apparently I got bad intel, but I still should have been more prepared for something like that. So...sorry about all that. Did everyone get through okay?

[Well, Lockon had gone to pay a visit to his girlfriend...only to find out that she no longer lived in her apartment. That was...quite a nasty shock, to say the least. Frantic, Lockon had run down to personnel to find out what happened. It turned out that there was a paperwork error, and that Lachesis had had her memory modified and she was sent home.

Barely containing his anger, Lockon insisted to know how to fix such an error...only to be told that he couldn't. After all, since when has a mere Agent had any sort of clout?

And so, right now, Lockon is in his room. The door is locked, so only Virgil can get in without having to be let in. And right now, he's punching the everliving crap out of his pillow.]

Dammit...GODDAMMIT! How could this happen AGAIN?!

Every time...every goddamn time I get close to someone...they get YANKED AWAY! WHY, DAMMIT? WHY does this have to happen EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN TIME?!

First my family...then Anew...now Lachesis! Just how many more people am I going to lose? WHEN THE HELL WILL YOU BE SATISFIED, HUH?!

[He continues beating the living daylights out of the pillow until he just can't find the energy to throw any more punches. He then just collapses on his bed, sobbing.]

[When the feed comes on, it shows Lockon looking straight into the camera, with a dead serious expression on his face.]

All right. Everyone, this is important, so listen up.

Due to current events, my world is currently too dangerous to visit. The Earth Sphere is under attack by extraterrestrial lifeforms. Their numbers lie in at least the millions. Right now they're out in Jovian airspace, but they're heading inwards -- probably toward Earth.

So we've got a delicate situation on our hands. These aliens have shown the ability to assimilate just about anything solid, and the last thing we want is for them to spread to other worlds. So, until this gets settled, I'm gonna have to ask you guys to stay out of our world.

[Some time after sending the message, Lockon has made his way to the simulation chamber. Right now, he's running a sim based on the flight data of all four Gundams and the Ptolemaios 2, based on their last encounter with the ELS. The other three Gundams are currently AI-controlled (unless Setsuna and/or Tieria want to get in on the practice), and the four of them are fighting a swarm of needle-like objects. Lockon isn't faring much better than he did during the real encounter, though.]

[In an attempt to get out of the crowd-filled hallways, Lockon is keeping himself busy. He can be found in one of two places:

1) In the hangar, performing a diagnostic check on Gundam Zabanya.

2) In the garage, washing this beauty of a car.

[Lockon has been spending some time in the sim chamber -- about up to an hour now. What's he doing? Piloting. But wait, the mobile suit he's piloting isn't Gundam Zabanya. Anyone who has seen the model sitting on the nightstand in Lockon and Virgil's room should recognize this particular mobile suit. He can be seen walking out of the sim chamber after one such session.]

Hard to go back to an older unit, though that's not really a surprise.

[This time, Lockon can be found in a courtyard. He's stroking the back of the head and neck of an unfamiliar Pokémon. Where did he get that one?]

[Lockon is out somewhere on the grounds, seated on a park bench and smoking a cigarette. Setanta, Flag, and Lockon's Haros are out in the garden, getting some needed exercise.]

...So. Setsuna got sent back, and so did that Trinity girl. We lost a good card and a bad card on that one.

At least we've still got plenty of pilots. And people in general.

[Something no one had noticed in the confusion of the battle against the Children of Entropy, but Mao's current look is...rather different. She's got black lipstick and WAY too much eyeliner, and she's actually wearing a skirt. A kind of silly looking poofy black goth skirt that's been artfully slashed in a few places over black net stockings that have ALSO been artfully slashed in a few places. They match the feel of the skull and roses themed shirt she's wearing. In short she looks like a ridiculous teenage goth girl on a night out to a concert.

The things we do for undercover work. Mao is currently on her way to her apartment for a shower and a change of clothes. Then victory celebrations can get properly under way. That or napping, it's been a long week. Bother?]

[Meanwhile, Tieria is in the mecha hanger, overseeing repairs to Raphael. He's also about two feet tall, transparent, and kind of hovering in midair, as he's being projected from a holo-transmitter he had cobbled onto Raphael's Veda link.]

1: [In response to the latest announcements concerning the Children of Entropy, Lachesis, for the first time in quite a while, can be found in the Simulation Room donned in full armor. A vast field filled with a multitude of enemies can be observed - the Master Knight, however, does not seem particularly concerned as she lowers the visor of her helmet and charges forward on her horse. Whether with sword, lance, battleaxe, magic spell, or bow, she displays no qualms about dispatching her enemies in a perhaps unexpectedly brutal manner. Those who fall to the axe, in particular, suffer traumatic wounds before their bodies disappear as per the programming of the Simulator.

The world she exists in is not a kind one. It is something she must not forget.]

2. [For the better part of ten minutes, a small, gray, mouse-like creature of some sort can be seen worriedly attempting to enter the Simulation Room as Lachesis trains. Lacking any limbs, it unfortunately fails to do so.

Following the thread with Raidou, anyone watching the simulation will have been privy to the act of Digivolution. Lachesis will be standing outside the simulation holding the talking head, dumbfounded. Kapurimon chatters gleefully away as she simply stares in mild shock.]

3. [Much, much later in the day, Lachesis can be observed running through the grounds calling out a name in exasperation. Ahead of her, a ... bouncing head with a raccoon tail cheerfully bounds through the beautiful spring flowers. ... Tearing up half of them as it goes.]

Well, guys, I think we should try to organize something. This is gonna be a huge mission, and I don't want to screw it up. Not after what happened last time.

Let's start with machine capabilities and pilot expertise and work up from there. Anyone who wants my creds can just ask -- or just look them up, I've done plenty since I got here.

[The sim chamber is in use, and it's closed off. However, a clear view of what's going on is available. Inside is a snow-covered forest, and things seems still most of the time. Then, suddenly, there will be movement -- usually accompanied by a gunshot.

If one looks closely, they may see Lockon darting around and behind trees, locked in a heated sniper's battle. His opponent will only allow for glimpses as well, but enough to tell that it's a woman.]

[This time, Lockon is nowhere to be seen, but that's simply because the simulation this time is of a mecha battle. Lockon is in Zabanya at the moment, and he's fighting a mobile armor that might look familiar to Katina. This time, though, he's doing a fairly good job of fighting it on his own. If nothing else, he's keeping it at bay.]
