[Souji isn't around CO for a little while after his and Minato's world is restored. He has very important business.

Namely finishing the godsdamned fishing trip he was on when that whole mess hit him.

His communicator is on and accepting messages, though, sitting under an umbrella while he angles in the rain. If anyone needs him, he's there. Later when he swings back by Inaba to check up on his friends, though, he might be a little busy.]

Yeah, definitely. Most problems nowadays are solved with spell card duels, and people do them for fun too.

How do spell cards work, anyway? I assume their not just metaphors, like...

Well... I use them even though I don't know exactly how they work, but you inscribe a specific description spell and its name onto a special sort of paper, and when you use them you can't use anything else until the spell ends.

So it's more like...what are they called...Ofuda, but with magic spells instead of just a general idea of protection.

Oh, or scrolls or spellbooks from American roleplaying games.

Well I don't really know anything about those games, but I guess it's sorta like Ofuda. Reimu might even use those in some of her spell cards...
