Man, you other Gensokyo people are really weak. Hard to believe you're apparently our ancestors. Getting freaked out over a few ghosts? Pathetic.
Anyway, Minato and Arche, you win! Our technicians are developing your spell disks based on your combat data as we speak, and we'd be happy to install the system for a modest fee. Same goes for Ran, Remilia, Sakuya and Jin, Ran and Remilia will have half their spell cards converted and Sakuya and Jin will just get the spell disks.
Anyway, I'm hauling the old man out before he impregnates too many people. It's been fun, ciao!
[Minato, Arche, Ran, Remilia, Sakuya and Jin all gain access to a Spell Disk system. Spell disk systems are cyberware, they are installed directly into your hand and, once installed, cannot be removed. While the spell disk system is a powerful fusion of magic and technology, your inherent abilities WILL be reduced due to losing part of your basic humanity (or whatever-ity) by implanting the cyberware. In non-powered worlds, your hands will generally appear somewhat injured or even prosthetic, and the cyberware does generally feel unnatural and uncomfortable. You get used to it.
On the other hand, the spell disk system does have some perks. The spell-disk system has two built-in disk drives, one attached to each hand. Each drive can be primed with up to 6 disks that can be rapidly switched between via vocal command, and up to two disks can be activated at a time. Furthermore, the danmaku and spell-disk patterns can be adjusted for quantity, with the settings "light, moderate, dense, and overdrive." The drives recharge spell-disks during the course of battle, and spell disks can be prematurely canceled to retain some charge, as well as partially retain charges in the event of spell-break. Depending on the setting the disk's pattern can last longer, and the settings can even be changed on the fly to surprise or corner an opponent.
If you wish to have the spell disks installed, reply here. You may also respond ICly, if you wish.]
