Death tolls continue to climb as officials report 3,871,496,951 deaths since the attack last Saturday. Meanwhile, Myudol and Confuto Ordinatio operatives, currently working without the mandate of the council, are reporting 123,968 refugees have been saved. Myudol shelters are being taxed to their limit as the world desperately tries to find food and shelter for the refugees, but as more continue to stream in doubts have been expressed as to whether or not Myudol will be able to continue with this pace. Myudol High Priest Dasya Sahir, however, says his people will continue to save as many lives as they can, no matter the cost.

Meanwhile, the situation continues to worsen on the ground. Already, many small buildings have been absorbed as much of the ground near the epicenters of the attacks has begun to turn into a black mud-like substance. Heavy mutations are appearing as many citizens have become almost unrecognizable beasts, attacking anybody and spreading the taint with their claws and bites. Much natural wildlife and vegetation is starting to feel the effects of the taint, but as of now most of the larger cities remain more or less intact.

[If there was one good thing about True Runes, it was that, as long as they wanted you around, they did a pretty good job of protecting their host. And, of course, considering that Luc and the True Wind Rune were dimensions away from their own world, the TWR wanted to keep him alive at least until it could find its way back home and a suitable host.

[That being said, when the first bomb went off in the Mana Well, Luc had been on the upper section still, not interested in seeing how the TWR might react to the concentrated Mana. And as soon as the surge of energy came rushing out of the well, it teleported him... somewhere. He hit his head hard wherever he landed, which knocked him out for a while, but the TWR decided to protect him, both from the taint and those affected by it. When he finally came to, he had no clue where he was, or how long he'd been out. Nor what the heck was going on.]
