[Omi had gotten clearance to perform his own investigation of what was going on, and was on his way to Morrison's office to get the security camera recordings. It was what passed for late evening in C.O., and Omi was in his full assassin's gear. He'd opted not to carry an obvious weapon with him, so as to not unneedingly antagonize anyone, but he carried his darts, filled with tranquilizer, in his jacket.

[Omi passed by the location where the girl was killed, but there wasn't much for him to see, that everyone else hadn't gone over yet. He continued along, keeping an eye out for anyone (or anything) that might be wandering around, until he reached Morrison's office, and knocked.]

Sir? I came for the tapes.

[Omi is probably much better than Ivan at sneaking around -- As he walks on his way towards Morrison's office, he may hear footsteps following behind him. They're very soft, but they're there. However, there isn't anyone visible in sight. If he doesn't notice, Ivan will 'escort' Omi the entirety of the way to the office before departing.]

[Omi's been an assassin for far too long, not to notice. He's gonna listen for you, and then take a couple detours. And then he'll just slip around a corner, and tap the floor to make it sound like he's walking away, and see if you come around the corner]

[The footsteps do come around the corner, but there is clearly no one in the darkness. They stop and backpedal a few steps as their source notices Omi standing still.]

[Omi frowned. There was definitely someone there... But it wasn't like he needed to see someone to dart them. He pulled a dart from his jacket, and held it in his hand]

I know you're there. You might as well show yourself.

[No one appears from the shadows, although Omi will hear the voice of the fifteen year old boy.]

. . . Eheh. Don't pay me any mind; I'm patrolling. You really shouldn't be out here at night alone, sir.

[Omi slipped the dart back in its spot. If he was going to attack, he wouldn't've spoken out]

I have authorization from Morrison to conduct my own investigation. And I'm on my way to his office right now.

I'm pretty sure that doesn't make you any more immune to monstrosities that attack in the dark of night. Just be careful.

I'm pretty sure I can handle most anything that could come at me. I've been going against Dark Beasts as long as I can remember.

. . . And I'm pretty sure that's what Cecile thought before she was killed. Underestimating an unknown enemy is never a good idea, no matter how much experience you have.

From the sounds of it, this one is resistant to all physical and magical attack.

[Rider, too, is patrolling by night. She's wearing her combat clothes to better blend into the darkness.

Here, though, she hears something very faint. Most ears wouldn't be able to pick up the footstep, but Rider is far from being human, let alone an ordinary person. She summons her daggers.]

Who's there? Reveal yourself.

[Omi instantly sensed that there was something dangerous near him. He pulled out a dart, and then heard the voice]

Rider-san?

It's easier to move quickly when I'm alone. And I'm used to it.

Which is why it's even more important that I do this. I need to know what's going on. I don't want any more innocents to die, and if I can do anything, I need to.

[Rider hesitates. She's not sure if she should say this, but if Omi somehow can do something...]

[Rider still isn't sure if she should be divulging this much information. But desperate times call for desperate measures...and if he's Sakura's friend, she also doesn't want to see him do something he may regret, especially if it concerns Sakura.]

The shadow...is Sakura. Events at home have resulted in this. At night she turns into that shadow and attempts to devour anyone who gets too close.
