[The vocaloid stumbled out of his own world, wobbling under the size of his costume. He looks fairly miserable - and kind of ridiculous.

On his arms is a stiff set of wings that extend from shoulder to floor made from white feathers and peacock tail feathers, it doesn't let him bend his arms. The rest of the costume isn't much better, a headdress of faux-gems and white feathers in owl-like tufts, a feather-covered midriff-bearing shirt, and Egyptian-style white kilt, and there's black belts wrapped all over his torso and lower legs.

Maybe it looked better in context?]

Ugh. I can't reach the -!

The feed cuts, and about a minute and a half later he streaks past, stopping with a rubber-to-the-road screech.

"...Whoa!" He regards Kaito anew in person, circling him a little. "I know a coupla lady birds back home that might just ask you out, in a outfit like that. So why the Peacock of Babylon getup?"

"It was for a music video, based on La Sylphide...." He started as he squirmed in place.

"...Huh?"

Sonic's not exactly the most cultured hedgehog in the world. His knowledge of ballet barely goes beyond the fact that guys can wear leotards too.

"Well whatever, it doesn't really matter. Let's see if we can do something about those wings."

He beckons him closer and hops up onto a bench to gain some height and see what they're working with.

[The wings have a row of straps right at the elbow, which explains why he can't bend his arms or get out of the costume. He obediently holds the wings out]

It's a tragedy - guy falls for a Sylph on his wedding day, runs after her, but the Sylph wants to be free. A witch gives him a scarf that's suppose to make her his, but when he wraps her up, her wings fall off and she dies.

There's a pause behind Kaito.

"You know, there's no joke I can make right now, that won't make trying to get these wings off reeeeeeally awkward. So I'm just gonna--"

He starts to tug on the right wing's straps.

[They start loosening]

"Yeah, how'd they talk you into leaving that blue scarf of yours behind, anyway? I never see ya without it."

Fiddlefiddle...

"H-hang on, I've almost got it. Just relax, it'll make things a little easier."

The last strap comes loose.

The feathers still brush the ground, but they manage to keep it from getting too dusty from the floor. They're like gigantic technicolor feather dusters, after all.

"M' almost afraid to ask, but... what is it that they want, that you playing the part of a sylph can fulfill? Maybe I'm not looking at this right."

He goes to undo the other one.
