It doesn't look like I'm going to get in on any part of the planning, so I think I'm going to get some training done. The political side of things isn't something I have any experience at, nor is it something I want any part of whatsoever. So instead I'm going to make sure I'm ready to do what I can do. I'll be in the Sim Chamber if anyone wants me. If you want to join me, go ahead -- I'll actually encourage it, so that way we can work on some teamwork.

[Shortly after his message, Ike can be found in the sim chamber. He's fighting a mix of enemies from his own world -- swordsmen, axemen, soldiers, cavaliers, heavily-armored knights, mages, beasts, birds. Sometimes he squares off against several, other times just one. He gets injured from time to time, but any time he does get injured, he pulls out a vulnerary and uses it. You are free to watch or interrupt him.]

..... This is... almost exactly the type of medicine that is used in my own world. I've never seen another here - or even met anyone who uses the word 'vulnerary'.

Many things seem to be uncommon in the 'future'. Few choose to fight with battleaxes or lances anymore, it seems.

They have such things as first aid and antiseptics n later time period. Healing herbs are obsolete.

When outclassed by something more efficient at saving lives, perhaps. ... Healing staves, I doubt, will ever be less than useful, for which I ought to be thankful.

I've been spending plenty of time in the library, improving my skill at reading. I'm literate, but I didn't realize how little reading I could actually do until I got here.

If your world is like mine in other respects, the collections of books and scrolls don't even come close to rivaling Confuto's. It's quite impressive.
