She'd noticed him from somewhere on the other side of the square, but hadn't said anything until she was closer. Now she has her head tilted as she stands there, curious.

"...What's the matter?"

Ed glanced up at his friend when she spoke. "Nothing's the matter. I'm just taking a minute to remember where I started all this. Gotta keep perspective."

"...You mean--oh." She fidgets, not sure whether to leave him alone for the moment. He seems to handle it much better than when he first came here to CO, that's for certain, but still it's a horrible thing to remember. "I can understand that. Can I... sit down?"
