Attention Confuto Ordinatio: It is my sad duty to report that we have a rogue agent at large. Agent Robotnik is guilty of utilizing advanced technology from other worlds to fuel his own ambitions, and as a result of his self-centered and callous disregard for the rules of maintaining destiny has caused a massive alteration in the fabric of world SH. This has resulted in the disappearance and potential temporal elimination of Enforcer Sonic.
Robotnik must be stopped, and the damage he has done to this world cleared up immediately. I am officially ordering the detainment of Agent Robotnik by any means necessary. Be warned; he has no doubt gone to ground now that his actions have become obvious. Expect him to be armed and dangerous -- repeat, ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
I am also hereby issuing a second, interrelated mission, one which will be vital in expediting the return of world SH to its proper destined form. I shall let Agent Tails do the explaining. Agent Tails?
Hello, all. Agent Tails here. As you've just heard from Miss Ran, Sonic is gone and my world's going downhill fast. The best solution to fix it is to collect the seven chaos emeralds. Some of you might remember the blue chaos emerald that was stolen from my world several months back, but for those of you who don't know what they are, the Chaos Emeralds are large sources of power that can be used to grant miracles. Sonic has used them to defeat Dr. Robotnik several times in the past. Using these emeralds, we might be able to fix the world and stop Dr. Robotnik from causing further damage to it.
The emeralds are usually hidden in different places around the world, so we will need a few separate teams to locate them. Luckily, my emerald radar still works and I can at least pinpoint the general location of each emerald, making finding them much easier. It won't be as easy to get the emeralds, though. Each one is hidden in a sort of pocket dimension of their own, and must be tracked down inside and obtained. The only reason Dr. Robotnik hasn't found them is because the pocket dimensions seem to only open for non-robotic creatures that find them. These seem to also generate paths from the entrance to the emerald itself depending on who enters it, since Sonic has had to do races and the like to get them. So depending on who you have in your team, the test could be anything. It shouldn't be anything you all can't handle, though.
I'll give more detailed instructions on where each emerald is when you guys get there. We can't let this world collapse. Please, assist us in locating the emeralds and stopping Robotnik!
