[Ridcully just led a bunch of volunteers on a grueling, five mile, uphill run up the lower slopes of Mt. Olympus on a world that has no powers beyond the might of the Greek Gods. A power none of the members of CO qualify for, so for the run everyone was a vanilla human. Also it is incredibly hot and dry out, so bring water.

At the end of the run, there is a clearing in which Ridcully arranged for a buffet style picnic set up, complete with a wide variety of food and drinks and a number of picnic tables to eat it on.

Feel free to show up even if you didn't say anything in the first post. For commenting purposes, assume you just reached the top, possibly in a wheelbarrow after you passed out. General socializing post is a go!]

Good show everyone! Nothing like that good ol' country air to clear out the system, know what I mean? It's like nature's way of rewarding you for experiencing it in all it's glory!

Attention everyone! I say, attention! I am scheduling a little bit of a run up the slopes of Mt. Olympus on some version of that Earth world who's code I can't immediately remember (I'll send it out later.). Anyone who's up for it, meet me there at [Date and time. The time is ungodly early.].

To those of you slugabeds who don't feel the need, I should let you know there will be catering at the top of our run, with a truly excellent spread. Also, it might get you in the good graces of a certain councilor who shall remain nameless (myself.).

ANYWAYS, anyone who wishes to join me please let me know. It would be good to know how many people to expect.

The plants look to be unfamiliar skeletons growing out of the ground. And there're tarrasques in bloodstrained tutus prancing everywhere in a mockery of ballet dance.

[When the feed clicks on, it is to a beautiful scene. A forest, to be exact. Many tall, leafy trees stretch away into the distance, while a small brook bubbles along through a wondering path. Birds fly through a cloudless summer sky.

...Or do they? Upon closer examination, the birds aren't moving at all, and that breeze that seemed to be flowing through the tree branches isn't actually ruffling them, is it?

If you were thinking that no place in Confuto Ordinatio looked quite like this, you would be correct. Suddenly, the view shifts, and a young girl is seen standing proudly in front of the landscape. She is holding a paintbrush and an artist's palette. She grins and waves at the camera.]

[Those of you trying to cross through the grounds may notice a Treasure Hunter building an extremely elaborate trap. It has lots of klaxons and bells and meat cleavers and it looks positively deadly, assuming it works right.

[What Deimonea doesn't mention is that she's left far more subtle alterations in the dream. Hidden crystals embedded in the scenery, fashioned to transform into invisible warnings to fly to her if anyone else should access the dream.]

Hey, I was hoping to have time to brief everyone before we left, but that'll have to happen enroute. We've got a ship now, and we need to get out before the investigators get here.

Atsuro, is that program ready? Send it to me if it is, otherwise you'll have to come along and finish it on the way.

Infiltration Unit members, the ship is leaving at [insert time that's 30 minutes before the investigators get there], no later. If you miss it, we can't wait for you.

Oh, and Ezio, too. Eric, I know you were looking at having Duo transferred out, so feel free to have him not get this/not make it/whatever. I'll have one thread for OOC "character made it/didn't make it" comments. Also... time for me to have fun avoiding playercest with both Omi and Luka on this mission ^^;]

[It's been a long week that Fallos was gone in his own world, but it only lasted a day or so in CO time! Now that he's back, there are things to do. Battles are getting harder, both here and in the Drakalor Chain.

Which is why he's here now, in the center of a large, open part of the grounds, a symphony of random stuff laid out all around him.]

All right, I have two more Holy Waters left... so I can use one for this, and...

[It's time for an Inventory Audit! Fallos is doing all kinds of stuff. Testing wands out by firing them towards distant walls. Reading scrolls. Drinking potions. Dipping scrolls into potions. Organizing piles of strange herbs. Reading books. The last one in particular is very intense, since it tends to result in random teleportation, localized earthquakes, or just violent discharges of magical energy into the air. Spellbooks are dangerous.

Also, he seems to have developed a white streak in his hair since we last saw him.
