Naoki nearly flinches at the words Naoya spoke. "Well...technically, it might be a possibility if they were brought into the world, but during the Conception, the entire world was destroyed and was thrown into the Vortex World. Only then did demons appear, but I reversed the damage."

"Hell. A man by the name of Hikawa used the power of this drum, which acts as a terminal, brought the Conception onto the world. Doing so, it killed all life on the planet save for the building the terminal was in. That's how me and my other friends survived."

"The Conception destroys all life on the world, and only by defeating the Kagutsuchi can one shape the world to whatever they wish it to be, so long as they have a demonic sponsor or a powerful will, and a lot of Magutsuchi. Course...not everyone has the same view as to how the world should be created..."

"The world I was in before this Vortex World crap WAS better. It wasn't perfect, that much I am willing to admit, but all the other options didn't appeal to me. The will of humanity isn't perfect, but I am not going to be the one to damn its existence."
