I suppose you're all pretty lost and confused right now. Well I've had a couple more days to be confused than most of you, so I'm old enough to have some answers while still being new enough to know the questions that go with them.

I'm Enforcer Samuel Vimes, so you'll be working for me. For today, I can be your friendly teacher, but after this I'm the guy in charge.

I try to keep abreast with all our active Enforcers, it's part of my job.

Anyway, I'm just stopping by to introduce myself and drop this off.

This is all the organization laws I have recorded to date, I apologize for the incompleteness but the Master Copy is lost in filing and I haven't been able to locate it yet. But that should be most of what you need to know about being an Enforcer. I'd love to stay and chat but I must run, no rest for the just and all that, good luck!

Sir, if I may be frank? How many of these boil down to "be a good copper"?

Most of them, but there are some fiddly rules and regulations to sort out. I'd definitely give it a once-over.

Fixing things. Apparently we've got all these worlds side by side, and whenever one starts bleeding into the one next to it, we put a stop it, then deal wtih anything that got mixed up.

I'd say take the time to figure out how all their little toys work. They're really strange, but also really handy.
